Advocates for a Community College Education

Advocates for a Community College Education inspires Cape Cod high school students through mentoring and scholarships to succeed at Cape Cod Community College.

ACCE raises funds to award scholarships and provides constant mentoring and support to those students. Advocates are business professionals, educators, and anyone who has a passion for making a community college education available to more students.

Welcome to the web site of Advocates For a Community College Education, Inc.
(some portions still under construction)

Advocates for a Community College Education is now a fully independent nonprofit 501-C3 corporation. Our mission remains the same, while our opportunities to carry it out have expanded.

What this means to you is that your generous support is still tax deductible and that you can rest assured that your donations still go directly to support ACCE’s mentoring and scholarships. These give local Cape Cod high school students an opportunity they might not otherwise have to attend Cape Cod Community College and succeed once they are enrolled.

What this means to ACCE is that we now have a lot more flexibility to meet our students’ needs. After a long and valued relationship as a component fund of the Cape Cod Foundation, ACCE is now independent. Our board of directors will oversee policies to make the most of our programs, to mentor students who receive our scholarships, and to support their academic progress in many ways.

We hope you will join us for this exciting new chapter in ACCE’s mission, by donating, volunteering, mentoring, or all three. Thank you.
